Sizing a tank for rainwater collection is specific to each job, however, utilizing the square footage of the roof as a guide, the following chart can be used for a starting reference.
The size of your Rainwater Tank is limited by the amount of collection surface available to collect from. The chart below shows the typical tank sizes based on the amount of annual rainfall we receive in the Texas Hill Country.
